Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare foundation, ELS, temporary works structural design to meet the Client and statutory requirements;
- Liaising with different stakeholders in relation to technical and design issues, including Buildings Department, Housing Authority, Clients, Consultants and Site Operation team;
- Provide technical advice to other departments on engineering aspects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' experience with proven track record of design experience in structural engineering;
- MHKIE or MIStructE is preferable;
- Relevant experience in the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures in accordance to COP Structural Use of Concrete and COP Structural Use of Steel, or any other international codes or standards is an advantage;
- Proficiency in the use of BIM tools, structural software including GSA, S-FRAME, SAFE, SAP200 is an advantage;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
